American National has made the decision to not renew homes in the entire country.  Here is what this means for you:

Your home, renter’s, or landlord policy currently has a date it will end.  Nothing is taking effect immediately, so please do not panic!  As your non-renewal date approaches, here is what you can expect:

90 days prior to end date:

A courtesy letter is mailed from American National home office advising you of this change

Our local office will reach out with a courtesy call as well to let you know what is going on so the letter is not a shock.

If we reach you on the phone, we will complete the online survey form so we are quoting with the most accurate information with our new carriers

If we can’t talk with you and we leave you a message, we will have our system send emails to you with the link to complete the information.  We don’t want to be a bother, but we also don’t want  anyone to overlook this and potentially have a lapse in coverage.

60 days prior to end date:

The official notice of non-renewal will be sent to you and to your mortgage company, if applicable, from American National home office

45 days prior to end date:

Your file is dropped into our quoting queue and should take a day or two to complete.  Someone from the office may reach out if additional information is required.

30-40 days prior to end date:

Our office will touch base with you and present the most competitive option we have for coverage for you.

New policies will be bound and necessary paperwork signed.  We will send new evidence of insurance to your mortgage company for payment (if applicable).

Help us re-write your insurance for you by completing our easy form.
